Rat Race

Rat Race is an entry by me and George Muscroft for the NextGen 2024 game jam with the prompt "Next Generation".

You play as Ratticus, An evolved species of rat from the wastelands outside the city. With the capabilities to adapt rapidly to adversity (Gaining powers after taking damage for a short time), he has arrived at the city to propagate the next generation for all rat kind. Will he win the Rat Race?

We Designed and Programmed the game, Using Quixel Bridge to source all of our in world assets, The Rattus model by vicmax on CGTrader and Mixamo to animate the character.
